The table on which the final game was played and Leo Porter along with Bradly Voels won the tournament.

A-TECH’s first Foosball Tournament took place on Thursday, February 25. Board Game Club also takes place on Thursdays, which made the environment feel like a mini-BGM.

The competitors in the tournament ranged from freshmen to Mr. Hager and Mr. Duggan.

“I really enjoyed having the opportunity of playing against Mr. Hager, he was really good and our game was really close: 9-10, but we won!” said junior Rodolfo Alfaro, a member of the team The Two Amigos, which reached the semifinals of the tournament.

As traditional for Board Game Club, sodas and snacks were available for purchase.

The tournament’s champions were Leo Porter and his partner Bradley Voels. The second place was taken by Kobe Maristela.

“I felt like all the games were really close, and none of them were boring,” commented junior Mario Jacinto on the event.

There’s no news of a second Foosball Tournament coming up, but there certainly is enough people who would like to participate if such were the case.
