An assembly will take place on Friday, August 25, as a superhero-themed welcome to new students and a welcome back for the rest of the student body. In this assembly, students will meet new staff members and student board members, watch a video of what other students did over the summer, and play bingo.

This day has a shortened schedule to make room for the assembly. Lunch will remain 30 minutes long, but every class excluding eighth period will be reduced to 35 minutes. Lunch will be based off of students’ sixth period room number.

Eighth period classes in the 600, 700, and 800 halls have Assembly A, meaning that once these students go to their eighth period class, they will be dismissed by their teachers shortly after class begins. When students return from their class, they will have 45 minutes of class time.

Students who are in the 300 and 400 halls, P.E., or portables or are an office aide have Assembly B. They will have class time first before being dismissed at 1:15 p.m. to go to the assembly.
