Ariana Grande Benefit Concert

As many now know, on Monday May 22, there was a terrorist bomb attack that took place right after an Ariana Grande concert that took place in the Manchester Arena. This attack had left 22 people dead and over 100 people injured.

In response, to the pop singer Ariana Grande decided to have a benefit concert called “One Love Manchester” to honor those who had been unfairly killed.

In a statement released over Instagram she writes to say that hate will not win, “I’ll be returning to the incredibly brave city of Manchester to spend time with my fans and to have a benefit in honor of and to raise money for the victims and families.”

This concert will take place in the Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester on June 4th. There will be a numerous amount of performers in the “One Love Manchester” concert such as Justin Bieber, Niall Horan who had been previously in One Direction, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Usher, and Pharrell.

Ticket Master will sale general admission tickets to the public on Thursday of this week and they ticketing fees and those who attended the in which the bombing occurred will enter for free.

For those who are unable to attend the concert in person channels such as BBC TV, BBC radio, and all Capital Radio Networks will, according to Billboard, “shut down their programming Sunday evening to air the concert”.

In the same statement made over Instagram to her fans Ariana says, “There is nothing, I or anyone can do to take away the pain you are feeling or to make this better. However, I extend my hand and heart and everything I possibly can give you and yours, should you want or need my help in any way.”
