Interact Gives Back

There are many clubs at A-TECH who give back to the community and Interact is one of them. Interact is currently hosting a clothing drive for the less fortunate.

“It’s going to Easter Seals and Shade Tree,” said Interact president, senior Shae Spahle.

“So for shade tree, it’s to provide clothes and support for the women and children that have escaped domestic abuse.”

Not only is the club donating clothes to women and children, but as well to other unfortunate people.

“For Easter seals it’s to provide clothes to disabled people,” said Shae.

The club encourages anyone to donate; it does not matter whether you are from the club or not. The only requirement for donations is that they must be in a good condition. No tears, rips, or stains.

All donations will be collected in Mrs. Styles’s room, 712. Donations are as gladly accepted all year long.

“When we get a good pile of donations we drive them down to the charities,” explained Shae.

Interact itself is dedicated to helping those who are in need. The end goal is the give benefits to the people who are connected with these organizations.
“The purpose is to help the people who benefit from both of these organizations.”
