Black Student Union (BSU) is a place for African American students on campus to recognize that they are not only a minority, but students trying to achieve goals. BSU is a club not only for African American students but for everyone who is willing to expand their minds on culture, epidemics, and events going on in the black community.

“I like the fact that it gives us [an] opportunity to be with people that are like ourselves and talk about topics that involve the African American race and also being able to have big discussions,” says member Kyra Evans.

BSU meets every other Thursday in the library after school during assistance period. For more information about this club, contact Mrs. Eagles located in student services.
