Jeffrey Hinton had his US history classes perform a mock trial of the WWII dropping of the bombs in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. His classes did a trial to find out if Harry Truman is, in fact, guilty of innocent or crimes against humanity.

“I did a lot of research on it and, I mean, it was kind of scary to do it because you are in front of everyone but I think I did okay and I got my point across,” said junior Melody Herrera.” It gets really interesting.”

Other students had fun with their project as well.

Junior Isabel Ceja said, “I’m having a lot of fun and seeing our classmates work together is very entertaining.”

Some students didn’t like it, however.

“Personally, I don’t like it because I don’t feel our coordination is very good. I don’t feel like our team members coordinated as well as they could have,” junior Ryan Zheng said.
