Student Council is opening up with their newest idea yet: a school carnival open to A-TECH students and their families. The carnival will take place on Friday, March 1st, and feature many student run booths like a haunted house, laser tag, and other various activities.
Applications to get up to two booths are due January 31st and anyone in a club, program area, or group is eligible to apply. All games, food, and prizes offered with the booths must be provided by the applicants as STU-CO will only help with the set-up and creation of decorations. Any food booths will be required to have pre-packaged food from companies with a health card to prevent any allergy issues for carnival goers.
STU-CO is willing to help with a lot of the carnival set-up, including making props and decorations for booths, helping with general set-up, and making sure all booths are prepared prior to the carnival. A committee of seven helpers will be assigned to each group and special requests like extensions cords, stickers, and tables, can be made using the application site. Canopy tents are also highly recommended and can be requested from STU-CO, but will not be automatically provided.
Only one person per organization is required to submit a form, but must read the carnival presentation slides provided on the A-TECH Inter Council Google Classroom webpage. For the code, contact STU-CO.
