November 3, 2018 was Mega Magnet Day. This is a fair which students were able to look around and get more information about magnet schools and what opportunities there are to apply for a spot.

“Magnet 101” workshops were to be held at five different locations on November 3 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at five different schools in the valley. This includes Gibson Middle School, Bridger Middle School, Martin Middle School, Guinn Middle School, and White Middle School.

More opportunities like this, for families wanting to learn more about Magnet or Career and Technical Academy Schools, have been provided in the month of October and will come up again in the months of November and December. These fairs will be held out through December 7 for students and their families to learn about the application process, admission requirements, and transportation policies.
